  3. FLOODS IN SUMMER.

    The heavy country rains caused a remarkably rapid rise in the level of the Swan River at West Midland and Guildford on Friday morning. Within four hours the river rose about six feet causing floods reminiscent of those in 1926. This picture was taken from Mr. H. E.
