HAD THEIR FATHERS LIVED. THE RESPONSIBILITY OF FINDING WORK FOR THEM WOULD HAVE FALLEN ON THE FATHERS. IN THE CIRCUMSTANCES, IT IS THE OBLIGATION OF THE COMUNITY AS A WHOLE TO ACT FOR THOSE FATHERS. THE PERTH AND FREMANTLE LEGACY CLUBS HAVE UNDERTAKEN THE TASK OF FINDING THEM WORK, AND INTENDING EMPLOYERS ARE ASKED TO COMMUNICATE WITH THE SECRETARIES OF THESE CLUBS. HE WAS ONE OF THE PARTY THAT MET THE BUSSELL FAMILY ON THEIR LANDING, AND LATER MARRIED AND SETTLED AT BUSSELTON, WHERE HE BUILT THE OLD COMMERCIAL HOTEL, THE FIRST HOTEL IN THE TOWN.
