  4. THE VISIT OF HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR AND LADY BEDFORD TO THE CHRISTIAN BROTHERS' COLLEGE.

    Last week His Excellency the Governor and Lady Bedford paid their final visit to the Christian Brothers' College prior to their departure from Western Australia. A considerable number of ladies and gentlemen also accepted the invitation of the College authorities to be present, among those who attended in addition to their Excellencies, being the Lieutenant-Governor (Sir Edward Stone) and Lady Stone. Lady Forrest, the Colonial Secretary (Mr. J. D. Connollv), Captain Stone (Private Secretary to the Governor), the Mayor of Perth (Mr. T. G. Molloy), Messrs. F. Connor, M.L.C., and II. Brown, M.L.A., Colonel Campbell, and the Rabbi (the Rev. D. I. Freedman). The outside of the building, the various classrooms and the dining-room were tastefully decorated for the occasion, and ...
