The wonderful Jamieson valley, viewed from the height above Wentworth Falls, is a never-failing source of attraction to lovers of mountain scenery. Not so very many years since it was only from the heights above that its beauties could be viewed and it was believed that no person had ever set foot upon the middle platform between the two great leaps of the main falls. But the enthusiastic efforts of local mountaineers discovered a way down through the wonderful valley of the Waters, and from the lower standpoint it was found that a middle path was practicable.
