The ceremony of presenting Lady Dudley's colors to the Senior Cadet Battalions was performed by Lord Kitchener in the Federal Government House Grounds, Melbourne, on February 12. The colons, which were awarded to the Fourth (N.S.W.) Battalion, commanded by Major Baxter, of Lithgow, are given tor the highest standard attained in drill, discipline, field exercises, general turnout, and musketry. Judging, except in regard to musketry, is on the work of each battalion during the year, The color party from the Fourth Battalion consisted of Captain R. Burns, Lieutenant G. Paul, and Sergeants L.
