  3. GOVERNOR-GENERAL AT WOODSIDE AND OAKBANK CAMPS

    BECAUSE of rain there was no special parade during the visit of the Governor-General (Lord Gowrie) to Woodside military camp yesterday. TOP LEFT and ABOVE—His Excellency taking the salute during the 48th Battalion's return from morning manoeuvres. With him are the Base Commandant (Brigadier A. M. Marryn), the Camp Commandant (Brigadier A. R. Allen), and Brigadier-General A. T. Anderson, A.D.C. TOP CENTRE—Lord Gowrie chatting to men from a country district.
