They made a stirring picture as they bowled along with taut sails over the glistening water. The course was a triagular one of 18 miles, off Largs Bay. This picture shows the entrants well bunched. From left, Gwyian (Queensland), Tassie III (Tasmamia), Milsonia (Vic.). Marie Louise (Vic.), hidden behind Milsonia. Nerana (South Australia), Carina (South Australia), and Bunyip (Vic.). Milsonia and Carina fought out a great finish, but the Victorian vessel had a narrow victory. ... [ILLUSTRATED]
