THESE MEN ARE IN THE MALLEE TO STAY. Drought and erosion have not made things easy for those who have settled in the Mallee. It's hard going all the way. But the typical sons of the Mallee photographed above—experienced farmers all—are of one mind concerning the spot in which they have made their homes.
