    On Sunday, September 28, the Italian force at Walchfit Pass, 80 miles north of Gondar, surrendered under arms and received the honors of war. Headed by the Italian flage, the Italian force came down the pass from their positions, and were given the honors of war by Brigadier W. A. L. James, who took the salute.
