Advertising : 96 wordsBATONS WERE DRAWN BY POLICE yesterday morning when the timber strike assumed an ugly aspect outside Hudson's yards. Fourteen arrests were made. Inspector O'Brien was hit with a piece of wood, and dazed. Strike pickets carried strifes about five feet high, with white slogans affixed to them.
