    CIRCULAR QUAY AS IT APPEARS TO-DAY. PHOTOGRAPH OF CIRCULAR QUAY IN THE EARLY SEVENTIES. This interesting photograph, which was kindly lent to us by Mr. Mann, Director of the National Art Gallery, shows that in the early seventies the Circular Quay was a deserted- looking place. The picture shows the well-known ship La Hogue lying alongside the Quay on the left hand, while the vessel further along is the Parramatta.
