    Seventeen workmen's dwellings are nearing completion in Gloucester-street. Each contains six rooms, and is solidly built, the partitions being 9in. walls. The rents to be charged are 22s 6d a week. An interesting sidelight on the building of these houses was afforded by a remark of a housewife whom the policy of resumption will shortly require to pack her pots and pans and get elsewhere.
