This view shows the difficulty with which persons at Bondi were faced in observing the solar eclipse. This photograph, taken at 7 a.m. on Saturday, shows a heavy bank of cirrus and cirro-cumulus clouds completely blotting out all view of the sun. In fact, the sun only emerged for a couple of minutes from the clouds during the whole period' of contact. At.
