    Employes of the works department of the city Council presented the retiring City Engineer (Mr. R. M. Scott) with a handsome clock, suitably engraved, at the Parade Ground yesterday afternoon as a mark of their appreciation of his work as chief of the department. Mr. Scott will leave for Melbourne shortly to take up the position of City Engineer there. The photograph shows Mr. J. Davis (overseer in chief) presenting the clock to Mr. R. M.
