  4. Raid on Dail Eireann, December, 1919.

    1.--The soldiers arrive at 76 Harcourt-street, in motor lorries and in trench order. Note the school boys in the foreground near the railings.. 2.--Three Sinn Fein M.P's: were arrested and taken to Mountjoy Gaol in one of the lorries. They were Frank Lawless,,M.P,, Sean O'Mahony, M.P. (central figure), and -- M.P. 3.--The office staff were also removed to Mountjoy per lorry. 4.--A guard was left on the door of No. 76. It was evidently feared that the arrested men would jump out of the motor lorries and return! ... [ILLUSTRATED]
