    This "umbrella festival" takes place every dahlia season in the garden of Mr. H. A. Robinson, Hamilton Road, Moorooka; they protect his blooms from heavy rain and scorching sun. Mr. Robinson, the largest dahlia grower in Queensland, has held the British Dahlia Society's medal for five years.
