    An amusing incident took place on one of our railway lines a short time ago,, m which the guard of a goods train took a prominent part. This guard one day renorted the driver of his tram for slow driving. The driver meant to have his revenge for this, and soon after, havmg ou a portion of the line a clear run of some ten or twelve miles, he thought he would give Mr Guard a startler. So he let her So ’ and got over this distance ata speed ofShout 50 miles an hour. The guard s old van rocked like a cradle, to the intense delight of the driver.
