Dealing with the water shortage brought about by severe drought conditions on the south coast of New South Wales. On the left a Jamberoo dairy farm employee is pouring water into a trough used by cattle. After cream has been delivered at the factory, the cans are used to bring back water from the factory bore. Hundreds of gallons are carted daily in this way. The accompanying picture shows a roadside scene at Kiama, where the Council has installed tanks in the streets.
