The picturesque and exhilarating sport of yachting is winning increasing popularity at Port Adelaide, as evidenced by the contests conducted under the auspices of the Royal South Australian Yacht Squadron. The "Ryoals" had a big afternoon on February 3, when three races were held—one each for rating and length classes and another for the motor boats. The full breeze brought the yacht's out in all their finery. 1. The Norallie (Mr. T. M. Hardy, owner, at the tiller) rounding the beacon with Nanieya (Mr N. Walter) following 2 Lonteswn in the length class. 3. Running down the river. 4. Fighting out the finish. The winner Mr. R. Fisher's Reverie (with Mr. Norman Ford at the helm) may be seen under the jibs of Mr. Napier K. Birks's Stormy Petrel (handled by Mr. E.
