A Feature of the proceedings was the represeentation of seenes asociated with the landing of the first Governor (Sir John Hindmar [?] and the official party in 1836. An old [?] had been brought around from Port Adelaide, and decorated and altered to suggest H.M.S. Buffalo. She was [?] in the offing, and the part disembarked and came ashore.
