    Many thousands of people availed themselves of the final opportunity last Saturday to witness the impressive spectacle at Wayville West both by day and by night, the total passing through the turnstiles being 24,606, and the receipts amounting to £1,429. The total takings for the week were £6,797 16/4, which easily constitute a new record. The previous highest takings were about £4,500 in 1922.
