The ceremony of dedicating the conspicu ous and admirably built arch to comme[?]or ate the great operations by the Anzacs in the war was impressively performed by the President of the Cheer-Up Society (Sir William. Sowien) on the evening of January 28, in the presence of a large and representative gathering of patriotic workers. The arch has been erected by the Cheer-Up Society adjacent to the hut, and was designed by Mr. J. Quinton Bruce, in t he Corinthian order, symbolical of triumph, gladness, and beauty. ...
