    Straining every nerve in a desperate bid for victory these middle distance and sprint horses thrilled racing enthusiasts on the final day of the Q.T.C. Easter Meeting at Ascot. On the left Delwood is seen defeating St. Valorey and Taras in the Easter Handicap. The right hand picture shows Star Deer, Morning Carol and Exaltation racing to the post in the Open Handicap; in an exciting finish Star Deer beat Morning Carol by a head, Exaltation being third. Shortly after the start of the Easter Handicap. St. Valorey is showing slightly in front of the winner Delwood (No. 5).
