    The youth of Australia on Anzac day paid homage to the memory of those who served in the World War. For metropolitan schools and colleges the central point of remembrance was the Cenotaph on Parliament House steps, shown above (left), where on Wednesday a memorial service was held, and 150 beautiful wreaths and crosses were placed at the base of the column. Throughout Australia, right to tiny schools in isolated areas, thoughts were directed by teachers to the great example and sacrifice of the men and women of the A.I.F., and a spirit of devotion to the well-being of their native land was no doubt the outcome of the many impressive occasions. ...
