    The readjustment of the electorates of Tasmania, consequent upon the Census having shown changes in the density of population, was referred recently to a Commission of officers representing the Commonwealth and the State, the Federal and State boundaries and the rolls being the same. The Census showed that there had been a great increase in the population in Denison and the South generally. The above map sets out the proposed new electorates. It will be noticed that Denison has had to be shorn of some of its suburban areas, and that the northern boundary of Franklin has come a long way south of the old line, Wilmot having annexed the Midlands.
