    In a D.H. 50 seaplane Group-Captain R. Williams, chief of the Royal Australian Air Force staff, arrived in Sydney on Saturday afternoon from Melbourne on the first stage of the Pacific Islands survey flight. He was accompanied by Flight-Lieutenant I. E. McIntyre (pilot) and Flight-Sergeant [?] (mechanic).
