    There are large numbers of crocodiles in the creeps around Mackay, and a local zoo contains several, ranging from 18in to 12ft in length. Black's Creek and Constant Creek are alive with them, and it is a common thing in those localities to see cattle with short tails, as a result of crocodiles biting them while in the water.—By Arthur Hey Swinn. ...
