This year's exhibition has been the most successful ever held since the inception of the Royal Agricultural Society of N.S.W. Such crowds as gathered on this occasion had never been seen on the show ground, and one wonders what would have happened but for the elaborate extension carried out last year. The presence in Sydney Harbour of the Special Service Squadron served as a powerful magnet in drawing people from the country districts, and helped to increase the show attendance; but one of the main factors in bringing so many visitors from the rural centres was the favourable outlook as a result of the recent bounteous rains.
