    Here we see the men from the warships marching along Macquarie-street. His Excellency the Governor took the salute near the Mitchell Library from a dais on which were assembled Vice-Admiral Sir Frederick Field, Rear-Admiral Sir Hubert Brand, and their chief officers, with the Prime Minister (Mr. Bruce), the State Premier (Sir George Fuller), and many Federal and State Ministers, as well as Rear-Admiral Addison, General Brand, and other Australian naval and military officers. The parade assembled at Woolloomooloo, and the order of march was along Sir John Young-crescent, through the Outer Domain, along Macquarie-street to Bridge-street, thence via Pitt-street to Martin-place, George-street, Bathurst-street, Elizabeth-street, Park-street, Haig-avenue, Sir John Young-crescent, back to the starting point, The blue-jackets, with their bayonets fixed, made a fine appearance, and the well-set-up Royal Marines ...
