  3. VICTORIAN HARDWARE CLUB'S ANNUAL PICNIC AT SORRENTO.

    The Weepoona bore away from Port Melbourne on Saturday a happy crowd of picnickers representing the Hardware Club, bound for Sorrento, where the annual outing was held, the bands of music on board giving the necessary touch of g[?]ety. A programme of sports was arranged and carried through on the picnic ground with side shows and noveity events, and the weather proving good a capital day down the bay was spent. Mr. J.
