The pictures on this page were taken at the North Kent Agricultural Association's ploughing match, held at Farningham (Eng.). It will be noted that each horse team has a driver, in addition to the ploughman. This may appear strange to Australians, for in the Commonwealth a man must steer both horses and implement. The old-style ploughs pictured will also be looked upon as something of a curiosity, but they are no doubt Well adapted to local conditions. ... [ILLUSTRATED]
