    The Sydney Church of England Grammar School boat (the winner) at the finish (just below the Nepean Bridge), with a quarter of a length to spare from The Scots College. With a tremendous finishing effort, Sydney Grammar School (behind the two leading boats) sprinted into third place ahead of St. Joseph's College, on the extreme right of the picture. It was a Wonderful race under perfect conditions, and concluded a day of triumph for Sydney Church of England Crammar School, as the crews from that school won the three events, a feat performed by ...
