  2. The Stinson Airliner—Vicinity of the Crash and the Rescue

    Nine days after its disappearance the Stinson airliner on the Sydney-Brisbane route was discovered, a burnt-out Wreck, on a ridge of the McPherson Range, near the Queensland-New South Wales border. The two pilots (Captain Rex H. Boyden and Mr. B. G. M. Shepherd), as well as two passengers (Messrs. W. W. Fountain and J R. N. Graham) Were incinerated with the. 'plane. A third passenger (Mr. J. K.
