    At the Victoria League Study Circle monthly meeting Miss Joyce Trickett, of Sydney, who was guest speaker, was presented with a bouquet by the president, Mrs, C. Dean (right). 2. Adamstown girls' department held its open afternoon for parents and friends yesterday. School girls are shown doing needlework. Maureen Lowther (left) concentrates on fringing some material while Nina Saliwontschik receives instruction from the teacher, Miss E. J. Hancock. 3. Visitors also saw the girls performing plays.
