    Although official estimates place the probable yield of the harvest in New South Wales at not more than 35,000,000 bushels, We are inclined to think that that figure is too conservative. Certainly the crop has completely failed in some areas, but in those where the season has been favourable the yield will be higher than anticipated; so that we think the final figures will be found to be nearer 38,000,000 bushels.
