British airmen were very active last week. One day's work was thus reported by the Admiralty:—"One of our patrols shot down an enemy machine into the sea, and another was forced to land in the lines, and the crew were taken prisoners. We shut down two other machines, and drove down five of the enemy during a bombing raid. We bombed the Saint Denis, Westrem, and Gontrode aerodromes, the Bruges docks, the Thourout railway junction, and the railway near Ghent. Several tons of explosives were dropped.
