  2. GREAT FIRE AT PYRMONT.

    On Thursday night last the timber yards of H. Mackenzie and the Austral Box Company, at Black wattle Bay, Pyrmont. wore destroyed by fire. The conflagration was viewed by thousands of Sydney and suburban residents. Mr. Fred. Leist, of "The Sydney Mail" art staff, has elaborated upon a rough sketch taken on the night of the fire from the Pymiont quarries, which overlook the scene of the outbreak. Mr. Augustus Aley, in the second picture, gives the view from the western side of the bay. ... [ILLUSTRATED]
