    One of the peaks in the Macpherson Range, on the Queensland N.S.W. border. Near this spot the Richmond River has its source. Mount Lindsay is situated between Killarney (Q.) and Kyogle (N.S.W.), and is the centre of a rich farming area, which is gradually being settled. The photograph was taken from Dairy Flat. A road from Woodenbong—about 10 miles on the N.S.W. side of the border—to Brisbane, which will run round this remarkable mountain, has just been surveyed, and will be of great convenience to the settlers.
