    Now that there is so much talk about the tiger-cat caught in the scrubs of the north (writes Mrs. Llewellyn Elliott, of Taronne, Lowmead, Q.), "Mail" reader may be interested in this picture of a tiger-cat and the [?] created by him in my fo[?]thouse a few nights ago. The animal is young pullets, mostly Black Orpingtons, by seizing their heads in his powerful jaws; but at about 9 p.m. he made an error and seized one by the ley, causing it to give the alarm.
