    Several old landmarks that have since been swept away in the building progress of the city appear in this panorama, which was taken from Wickham-terrace in 1925. To the left of the picture the C.C.M. Building, now occupied by the State Insurance Office, appears as a three-story structure. In the centre will be recognised the old Normal School.     Many changes will be noted by comparing this Picture, which was taken yesterday from Wickham-terrace, with that reproduced above it. On the extreme left is the Masonic Temple. The C.C.M. Building has two additional stories. Next come three new structures—Griffiths House, the National Mutual Building, and the Colonial Mutual Building. Two new banks—the Commonwealth and Commercial Bank of Australia—adjoin the new A.M.P. structure, with Ascot Chambers immediately opposite.
