For many years the "Sydney Mail" has made an annual feature—in illustrations and letterpress—of the crop of yearling thoroughbreds. and in this issue is presented the first instalment of Milroys observations around the various studs. Yearlings come mostly from the north and the west, and during the season our contributes travels over much ground, visiting the studs. This week the Terrango, Larbert, and Tillimby Studs are dealt with, and in next issue Tocal and Duninald will come under review, together with some interesting historical items ... [ILLUSTRATED]
