The memorial, which the famous Australian sculptor, Sir Bertram Mackennal, has been engaged to execute, will be placed on the top of the column shown, which will be immediately opposite the main entrance to the central station. The layout of the square will provide for walks, a fountain on the Adelaide-street side, and an extensive lawn on which Anzac Day services and meetings will be held.
