This is the picture of a seaman on an American destroyer in the North Atlantic, one of the fleet of U-boat tranters and scoots which keep the seas fairly free of the Hun pest. They also assist in keeping the German Fleet from getting out and playing hav[?] with countries such as Australia, which they assuredly would do but for the vigilance of the Allied Fleets.
