This inspiring anthem was a great favourite with Cardinal Moran, and he loved to hear it sung at all Catholic festivals. The "Song for the Pope" was originally composed by the late Dr. Murray, for many years Professor of Theology in the College of Maynooth, and well known to students as the author of " Dc Ecelesia."
