At Bankstown baths yesterday, 2000 children scrambled for 1000 halfpence which were thrown into the water. The men in the centre of this picture, which shows some of the children, took care that none came to harm. The halfpence were subscribed by adult patrons of the baths. ... [ILLUSTRATED]
