These pictures, taken by The Mirror photographer outside the country men's camp at the Sydney Cricket Ground, show : A ground of men peeling potatoes ; (2) ones of the sleeping quarters; (3) men chopping wood for use in the camp. (4) group outside the grandstand ; the camp post-office. These striking pictures, exclusive to The Mirror, were taken shortly before the Cumberland finally sank, affter being patched up. The vessel unfortunately struck a gale just as she was being towed into port. ... [ILLUSTRATED]
