Advertising : 281 wordsThis modern machine at the Port Curtis Dairy Association's Rockhampton factory bottles 16,000 pint bottles of pasteurised milk in four hoars. The machine is electrically controlled and once the pasteurising temperature of 162 deg. F. is reached the milk automatically flows to the bottle filler. If the temperature should drop or the plant is at fault a valve automatically diverts the milk back to the pasteurising unit. So far there has been no-shortage of milk in the Rockhampton district, though production has dropped because of the dry weather. [?] ... [ILLUSTRATED]
