On the extreme left is the white face of the existing limestone quarry and below it, portion of the works. The hill on the right is composed of shale or clay which is used in the manufacturing process. The hill in the centre is solid limestone with an overburden at the foot consisting of a mixture of shale and limestone suitable for cement manufacture with slight adgustments in the percentage of clay or limestone.
