  4. CROCODILES HATCHED AT MT. ST. JOHN ZOO

    What is believed to be the first hatching of young crocodiles under observation occurred at the Mt. St. John Zoo on Monday morning. On February 2 of this year some 70 eggs were laid by a captive female crocodile. They were discovered in the nest immediately and the proprietor, Mr. St. John Robinson, made the nest secure to observe further possible developments.
