    The king has ordered that this chapel in Westminster Abbey be not apart for all time as a memorial of the men of the flying forces who gave their lives in the Battle of Britain. It was unveiled by the King on July 10, the seventh anniversary of the first day of the battle, in the presence of the Queen, Queen Mary, The Princesses, and other members of the Royal Family. It is at the easternmost end of Henry VII's Chapel. The window of 43 "lights" is the work of Hugh Easton. Each light in its own way tells the story of the battle and has its own meaning.
